In the midst of the storms of life, God is our Hope for a better tomorrow. He is the hope of everyone on earth.
Don’t lose heart
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of despair and discouragement to the hearts of many in the face of sickness, death, reduction of income, loss of employment, etc.
However, I would like to encourage anyone that may be feeling discouraged, to not lose heart but continue to hope and trust in God to see us through these difficult times.
Why am I so sad? Why am I so troubled? I will put my hope in God, and once again, I will praise him, my Saviour and my God. Psalms 42:11 GNB
As we think about the COVID-19 outbreak and its impact, let us turn our worries into praises and worship to the God of our Salvation.
A person’s spirit can endure sickness, but who can survive a broken spirit? Proverbs 18:14 CSB
You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our Saviour. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas. Psalms 65:5 NLT
Hope and Trust in God
Personally songs have helped me get through some difficult times in the past.
One song that reminds me of our need to put our hope and trust in God is I Trust You by James Fortune & FIYA.
When we hope in God, we will never be disappointed because His unfailing love will ensure that what we hope for will become a reality.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:5 NLT
Some people do not know if they can keep their jobs. And those who have lost their jobs have no clue how they can get back on their feet.
If your future seems uncertain right now, I would like to encourage you to continue to trust and hope in God because He is able to give you the future you deserve.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29: 11 NIV
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. Psalms 112:7 KJV

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will direct your path. Thanks so much Stella for unfolding the wonderful nature of the God we serve. I pray we will continue to embrace these amazing attributes of God and trust Him for all our needs.
hmmmnmn…. Thank you so much for your contribution Sis.
“Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart.” Wow! The Lord has just challenged me to ask myself if I really trust Him with ALL my heart.
Sometimes we know God is great and He is able to do beyond what we can ask or think. But do we actually fully trust Him? Do we really trust Him wholeheartedly or do we just trust Him a bit and doubt Him in one corner of our heart/mind?
Thanks again for for sharing your thoughts Sis – it’s opened my eyes to see that we need to learn to actually trust God fully with ALL our hearts and regardless of the evidences and challenges we see all around us.
May God help us all to FULLY trust Him – with ALL our hearts, and not doubt Him,- in Jesus name.
Alleluia!
God bless you Sis!xxx
God is indeed the Source of our hope. Keeping our hope alive in Him is important in this season. Thank you for reminding us that there’s no hopeless situation if we turn to God.
Amen!!!
Thank you so much for your contribution Sis! xx
You have opened my eyes to see that our hope can be dead… That probably means that people feel hopeless because their hope is dead – because they stopped hoping in God.
May God help us to keep our hope alive – keep hoping and trusting in Him, regardless of what goes on around us – in Jesus name.
And as we hope in God, we are assured that we will never be disappointed.
Alleluia!
