God is our breath in the midst of the storm. He is the the reason we still exist.

As the chaos that the Corona Virus global pandemic unleashed started unfolding, I began to think about God and the fact that He knows about the situation.

I reckoned God is all we need. He is all we have. He is the Saviour of the world.

God will terminate the Corona Virus

My prayer over many weeks has been that God would suck the life out of the Corona Virus so that it ceases to exist. I believe that God is able to cut the life supply of the Corona Virus right from its source because He is the Source of Life.

I believe that everything on earth exists because God’s breath is upon them. Therefore, if God were to withdraw the breath or whatever it is that makes the Corona Virus continue to live and thrive, we would see the end of this pandemic.

I am also confident that because God is all-powerful, by the same mighty power by which He raised Jesus from the dead, He will obliterate the Corona Virus and all its strains.

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

God is our Breath and He will get us through this difficult time

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 1:3 NKJV

Then the Lord God took dust from the ground and made a man. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nose, and the man became a living thing – Genesis 2:7 ERV.

God’s breath is upon us and we will get through this challenging time.

for in Him we live and move and have our being’ Acts 17:28a NKJV

We just need to remember that God is our Breath and the reason for our existence.

We also need to remember that God is the Giver of life and that life can only cease when He authorises it and withdraws His breath.

Today, I encourage you to acknowledge that God is our Breath.

Make out some time, regardless of how you feel, to give thanks to the Giver of Life, the Sustainer of Life, and the Saviour of our world.

The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalms 24:1 KJV
