God is Our heavenly Father in the midst of the storm. He is always kind and gracious and will always be there for us.

Several weeks ago, I  listened to an audio that someone shared on WhatsApp. It was about a father who had called his children after they got sent home from school due to having a cough and fever.

The father had asked the children to make sure to stay in their room permanently so he and their mother could go on working and not get infected with the Corona Virus. He also promised to bring them food when needed.

I am convinced the audio was just a joke and do not know what extent some fathers would go to protect themselves from their sick children. However, it did remind me of our heavenly Father.

Unlike earthly fathers whose love might be limited and conditional, God, our heavenly Father loves us with an unconditional and unending love.

Like earthly fathers, sometimes God does not always give us the answers we want or explain some of the stuff we go through, but He does love us and will ensure that we get through the difficult times that we currently encounter.

As a father is kind to his children, so the LORD is kind to those who honor him. Psalms 103:13 GNT

The LORD appeared to me in a faraway place and said, “I love you with an everlasting love. So I will continue to show you my kindness. Jeremiah 31:3 GWT

God Our Father will never leave us

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13 NIV.

As we go through our current challenges and look forward to the future, I would like to remind you that you have a heavenly Father who will always be there for you to meet your needs.

He will also grant you the courage and wisdom to navigate your current and future challenges.

The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8
