God, Our Helper, is always available to help us through the storms of life. He is our ever present Help in times of need.
Helpers in the Storm
The UK Government is doing all they can to help businesses and individuals who have been adversely affected by the Corona Virus pandemic.
I am glad that the UK Government is able to offer loans, grants, tax holidays, as well as income support, unemployment benefits and other assistance, to help businesses and individuals remain on their feet.
The benevolence of the UK Government is a great help to the businesses and individuals who are benefiting from the assistance that the Government has put in place to ensure their continued sustenance.
I have also heard about how volunteers, food banks, and some organisations are helping to ease the burden on underprivileged and vulnerable people at this time.
Amazing as getting assistance is, there is a limit to how much Governments, individuals and Organisations can do to support people, businesses and communities.
God, our Ever Present Helper
God is ALWAYS present to help us in times of trouble. He has promised He will ALWAYS be with us.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:5 NIV
In the midst of the Corona virus pandemic, I would like to remind us that God our Helper is with us to help us at this difficult time and He will never leave us.
God knows everything we need even before we realise we need them. And because of His wonderful goodness, He will ensure that we get all that we need during these difficult times.
We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God. It was all given to us by God’s own power, when we learned he had invited us to share in his wonderful goodness. 2 Peter 1:3 CEV
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalms 121 :2 NIV
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper!” Psalms 30:10
For You are my help; I will sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings. Psalms 63:7

God is my Very Present Help anytime and everytime. Thank you sis for reminding us that God will never leave us. That’s His promise and He will always keep His promises. He never said there won’t be challenges, because as long as we are still in this world and in our mortal bodies, we will surely encounter trials, but His promise is to be with us through it all. Isaiah 43:1-2,
“But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Isaiah 43:1-2 NKJV). Also Hebrews 13:5.
Amen and Amen and Amen!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this and reminding us of God’s promise to never leave us even in the most difficult and extreme circumstances.
“…When you walk through fire you will not be burned…”. Isn’t that amazing?!
When we go through the most challenging and impossible situations we will still not be overcome (by failure, defeat, discouragement, frustration, fear, intimidation…), but rather we will overcome because He has made us more than conquerors, and He is right in it with us to rescue us.
Alleluia!
