God is the only source of blessings that never dries up.
Supplies get clogged
Several weeks ago, I was talking with my adoptive mum who had left home very early to go food shopping.
She explained that she had struggled to find some of the things she needed, as some of the food required imports from other countries who were also on lock down, and the grocers had struggled to get some of their supplies.
I also recently saw a news report indicating that some warehouses are overstuffed as they are unable to deliver some of the stock to some restaurants and other shops which are currently shut.
The COVID-19 outbreak has meant that even though some food and other supplies have been produced from their source, they are not readily available to some of the people that need them, as there has been a blockage in some of the distribution channels.
God is the only Source that won’t get clogged
God is the only Source that never dries up or gets clogged up. He is the River that keeps flowing because nothing can cut short or reduce His supply.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. PS 46:4 NIV.
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. Psalms 36:8 KJV
During this global crisis, let us take comfort in knowing that God is our Source and there is no limit or blockage to His provisions, joy, peace, love, mercies and compassion.
Blessed to be sources of blessing
God is the source of all our blessings. And He blesses us so that we we can be a blessing to others too.
Because God is our Source, when we give to others, our supplies are actually not depleted, because God ensures that the supply always flows and we always have enough.
At this difficult time, let us try to be loving, generous and kind to others especially those who do not have enough.
Being generous does not have to be just about giving material things to others. Being generous also includes showing love and kindness to others.
As we continue to be kind and generous to others, we know that we will also become beneficiaries of the goodness of others. After all, what goes around comes around.
Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands–all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you.” Luke 6:38 GNT

Glory to God, our Eternal Source of life that never dries up! Thank you Ufuoma for this piece, it is needed at this time. This Scripture came to me as I was reading, James 1:27, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” (James 1:27 NKJV). May God help us to be a blessing to our world.
Amen and Amen!
May God help us see that we are blessed so we can be blessings to others.
And may our eyes be open to see that when we pour out ourselves, we can never come up empty, because God refills us and keeps pouring more into us.
Thank you so much for your contribution Sis!
