We need the strength of God to get through these difficult times…
The knock on effect of the COVID-19 pandemic has been discouragement and despair in the hearts of many.
Some people have been sick and thankfully were able to recover.
A lot of people have lost family and friends to the epidemic.
Some people have just lived in fear, panic and paranoia as the virus ravaged the world.
However, the Corona Virus has not only ravaged physical bodies, it has also crippled some businesses, and some people have lost their jobs in the process.
Do not fear, receive the strength of God
I would like to encourage us not to fear, but to put our trust in God, because the Strength He gives is able to see us through these difficult times.
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NLT
Jerusalem, the time is coming, when it will be said to you: “Don’t be discouraged or grow weak from fear! Zephaniah 3:16.
Apparently, fear weakens us, so I would like to encourage you not to be afraid of the Corona Virus or what life would bring after the crisis is over.
God is right with us and so we must not be afraid but take comfort in knowing that God will never leave us nor forsake us.
“just as I promised your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt. Don’t worry. My Spirit is right here with you.” Haggai 2:5 CEV
Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” Isaiah 35:4
God is coming to save us and He will destroy the enemy called COVID-19.
God will grant businesses and individuals the courage and strength to rebuild.
He will comfort the brokenhearted and make right all the confusion and devastation COVID-19 has caused.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever – Psalms 73:26 NIV
My prayer at this time is that God, our pillar of strength, would strengthen your heart, mind and body as you trust in Him.
